If you haven't guessed yet, I love to crochet with
thread. I started off making napkin ring holders,
fridgies and doilies and then I started making Christmas
ornaments and angels. I just love the idea of creating
something out of mere thread.
How did I get started with making crocheted
miniature teddy bears?
Well, I was looking on Ebay for a way to sell my
ornaments when I ran across these bears and fell in
love. There are so many talented artists with the cutest
bears. I wish I could buy them all!! Since I can't buy
them all, I thought I would give it a try and I just
loved it! I agree with other bear artists that making
the face is the best part.
My biggest fans are my 3 kids, Jessi, Sean, and Andrew.
My best helper and huge supporter is my husband, Simon.
He always helps me prepare my bears for traveling to
their new homes! :)
It takes many hours to create a bear.
